Choose and cut your own fresh Christmas Tree! We'll provide the saw. All trees are $25 (tax included) and we'll shake and bale it for free. Open Saturdays and Sundays 8 AM to 5 PM from Thanksgiving to Christmas.
Conkeytown Christmas Tree Farm is a small, locally owned business. It was started by former University of Illinois Forestry Professor Ted Curtin when he and his wife purchased the land in 1979. The first tree was planted in 1985.
The farm was named after the town started by Jeff Conkey in 1839. When the railroad came through Conkeytown split up and moved, creating the towns of Fithian and Muncie.
The Conkeytown Christmas Tree Farm is still owned and operated by the Curtin family today.
